Welcome to iLOCL, a platform that helps connect users with local licensed professionals for home services such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general contracting. By accessing or using the iLOCL mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the App. --- 1. Platform Services iLOCL provides a platform that connects users (“Users”) with independent home service professionals and licensed contracting companies (“Service Providers”). iLOCL itself does not provide home repair or construction services and is not a licensed contractor. All services booked through iLOCL are provided solely by third-party Service Providers, who are fully responsible for the quality, safety, licensing, and legality of their work.
2. No Contractor Relationship iLOCL is not a contractor and does not perform any services. iLOCL does not employ or supervise Service Providers and is not responsible for their actions, omissions, or performance. The agreement for services is directly between the User and the Service Provider. iLOCL is not a party to that agreement.
3. Licensing and Compliance iLOCL makes reasonable efforts to verify that listed Service Providers hold valid contractor licenses where applicable (e.g., CSLB Licenses in California). However, iLOCL does not guarantee license status, insurance, or compliance.Users are responsible for verifying license numbers, insurance coverage, permits, and regulatory compliance before engaging a Service Provider.
4. Payments Some payments may be processed through the App. In those cases, iLOCL acts solely as a payment processor or referral platform and does not retain responsibility for service execution or outcome. Any disputes regarding pricing, services, refunds, or scheduling must be resolved directly with the Service Provider.
5. User Conduct Users agree not to: Provide false information or impersonate others, Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes, Attempt to contact Service Providers outside of the App for untracked work.
6. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, iLOCL shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to services performed by third-party contractors or your use of the App.
7. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iLOCL, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or disputes related to the services booked or performed by third-party providers.
8. Modifications We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
